Fluid 0.8.8 with improved Gmail, GoogleApps, and VoiceOver support

Fluid 0.8.8 is out with a few bug fixes/small improvements. This release improves support for Gmail and Google Apps for your Domain SSBs and also
improves support for VoiceOver with Fluid SSBs (although there’s still more work to be done in that deptartment).

Important note: if you were experiencing any weirdness in your Gmail or GAFYD SSBs since the 0.8.7 release yesterday, in order to get the fixes from this update you must:

Delete your old Gmail or GAFYD SSB.
Delete the prefs for that SSB. Something like: ~/Library/Preferences/com.fluidapp.FluidIstance.<what-you-named-your-ssb>.plist
Install 0.8.8.
Recreate your Gmail or GAFYD SSB with 0.8.8.

I just tried Fluid 0.8.8 with pandora.com I used the popup window view for the URL http://www.pandora.com/?cmd=mini and it works great. I don’t have to worry about accidentally closing my browser window and losing my music. Thanks…

Hello,
This question is not specific to this article but in general about fluid security/privacy.

I see that the history and the cache can be deleted but not the cookies which cannot even be listed. Is it possible that you implement a feature such that a user can choose to delete all the history, caches and cookies on closing the program? I think that is a nice feature that Firefox has.
Anther nice feature (but might defeat the purpose) would be to launch directly to a number of tabs, one with G-mail, other with Google-calendar and a third with G-docs, for example

It’s another app i wrote a few years ago that trumps Safari’s cookie management UI. Soon, I’ll be integrating this into Fluid SSB. hold tight.

Yeah, multi-tab bookmarks would be nice. I’ll try to get that in eventually. Session restore will arrive sooner tho…

Thanks for your answer.
No, I did not know about cocoacookies, what a brilliant application! now I cannot wait to see some integration of it into Fluid.
I also thought of a another feature you could implement: some way of seeing the browser’s history in a coverflow fashion. This way one could search and access previous conversations of IM or previous documents or versions of Google-docs in a very intuitive manner. Something like what SafaryStand does for Safary’s history:
