… that I can imagine is via web applications. At least if the rumors that the iPhone is a closed platform prove to be true.

How long until we see web applications that are optimized for the iPhone’s mobile safari browser?
Are Java applets once again an attractive option? Or will devs and users prefer HTML/CSS/JS/Ajax? Prolly the later.
