TextMate changed my life

In the final hours it was offered, I purchased the oh-so-controversial MacHeist final promotion including TextMate
and Delicious Library.

WOW.

TextMate is the BOMB.

Anyhow, after installing TextMate and watching a few digivids (in awe) on how to use its code/text completion features, I signed up for the mailing list and asked for pointers to XSLT bundles/goodies/code-completion extras.

The first response was that there wasn’t much done in this area yet. So obviously, I made my own collection of TextMate snippets for XSLT 1.1

Todd’s TextMate XSLT 1.1 snippets.

This morning, I see a new message on the TextMate list that someone has already done something similar.

Oh well… the more the merrier. Besides, I plan on developing much more than just text snippets for XSLT and XML support in TextMate… I have some ideas… stay tuned.

    hi,
while looking for a xslt bundle, yours has stroke me as the most complete of all. nice work there! i was just wondering, if you’d agree for me to make some minor modifications to it (e.g. set the scope selector to text.xml) and publish it on git-hub under a bsd license?
    yours … pierre

  4. Todd Says:

hi pierre, yes i’ve actually made that scoping change (and other improvements) many times over and each time i’ve forgotten to share it or put it up somewhere.

i’ll try to look into doing that soon on github

  5. Todd Says:

hi again Pierre, i’ve just added the requested “text.xml.xsl” scoping to all of the snippets (and a few other small changes) and reuploaded to the same location. so click the link above to re-download with those improvements.

if i put this up on github, i’ll let you know.
