Web Application Frameworks without objects!
This is what I’m talkin’ about.
Imagine writing a web app without writing a domain model or ORM layer. Expose the database as an XML view, query/transform it with XQuery or XSLT and serve it as XHTML. So simple. No objects. No ‘code’. Can we have this now, please?
Or… more importantly, does this already exist? I’m not a Cocoon user… does it fit this model?
