I could be wrong, but it seems like there were no previews of Java 5 for OS X until well after Java 5 had shipped on the other platforms. Am I remembering this correctly?
Anyhow, Apple seems to be much more committed to Java 6, as Java SE 6 Developer Preview is avaible for download.
